Last weekend’s foodies festival in Brighton saw top chef Nigel Brown team up with Matt Tiller from ITV’s hit show Come Dine With Me in a search for the town’s next dinner party hosts to be filmed in the area in July this year.
Nigel demonstrated to Matt and the audience an attractive way to cut and serve a fresh pineapple whilst Matt explained how his show was looking for applicants in the Brighton and Hove area who would like to take part in the popular programme with the chance to win £1000.
As Nigel moved on to making summer cheesecake, using his new skills Matt tackled his own pineapple and produced a mighty fine centrepiece display (as long as you looked at it from the right angle!).
Come Dine With Me are looking for people over 18 years of age in Brighton with a passion for cooking who want to demonstrate their skills. Over four days, four strangers, from all walks of life, take turns to host the perfect dinner party for each other. At the end of the week the most impressive host wins a £1,000 cash prize.
